This is a rare piece that hits close to home for me. The Stave River is a relatively short section of river that drains into the Fraser. Its a very popular fishing spot. While I think its less likely you'll catch a sturgeon there, anything's possible!
This particular beast measured in at 60" long and is cut from 3/16" Mild Steel plate. This one has been touched with a grinder to debur edges and highlight features along the fish but most of the mill scale has been left intact.
