Whonnock is the local community where I grew up. For years I didn't know what it meant! I recently found out that Whonnock is the first nations name for "the home of the humpback". The humpback refers to none other than the iconic humped back of the Pink Salmon when they begin to spawn up Kanaka Creek. This design was actually my first foray into fish designs and continues to be a local favourite!
This particular Pink is cut from 1/8" 5052 Aluminum Sheet and has been ground to a shimmery shine! These make great gifts for the serious Whonnockian in your life!
